Britain’s Greatest Road Run #8

10 mile Road Race

Brampton to Carlisle

Sunday, 15 November 2015, 11:30

Ten-milers are rare in the UK today and this is the oldest one in the country, having been organised since 1952.

Lots of big names have run it since its establishment including Steve Cram and Ron Hill, who both recorded wins. It’s a very fast, point to point course and the race record is Nick Sloan’s 45:50.
