Burn More Calories With a Standing Desk

If you switch your office desk with a standing desk, you’ll burn more calories.

Switching to a standing desk from a traditional office desk for only three hours daily could burn an extra 144 calories a day, which as the same as 30,000 calories or eight  pounds of human fat a year.

In the past 50 years, sports and exercise participation have remained almost the same, so it is sedentary behaviours such   as sitting at a desk and nutrition which are the key factors leading to the typical annual increase in most people’s waistlines.
