Statistics from thousands and thousands of runs and rides in the last few years allow you to compare your fitness efforts – average distance, time and pace – against athletes around the world.
Amazing new data shows the running and riding habits of outdoor fitness enthusiasts in certain parts of the world. It reveals the average distances, times, speeds and elevation gained, for both women and men. It also gives information on the impact of the season and the weather conditions on training patterns.
The research is based on information uploaded to Strava, the online network that connects athletes, allowing them to track and share their fitness efforts and compete ‘virtually’ over segments, where Strava runs leader boards of the best times.
