Hydration Packs Are Invaluable on All-Dayers

Hydration Packs Are Invaluable on All-Dayers

It doesn’t matter if you’re all set for a weekend mountain bike trip, or just planning to spend a day at your nearest trail center, a hydration pack is a great accessory to wear for easy access to drink and stashing your essentials for the trip.

Short rides need minimal storage, but all-dayers demand room for food, tools, tubes, waterproofs, and so on. A smaller drinks bladder keeps weight down if you’re a speed geek, but a three-liter bladder is a must if you’re planning an off-piste trip.

Comfort depends mostly on how good the straps are, while ventilation will keep your back as sweat-free as possible.
