Music and the Risk of Injury

A Canadian study on snowboarders found an interesting connection between the risk of injury and listening to music while snowboarding.

This study discovered that snowboarders who listen to music suffer significantly fewer injuries. However, another study, published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, has revealed that when music-listening snowboarders do pick up an injury, it’s much more likely that they end up in a hospital’s emergency department than clear-eared boarders who get injured.
