Only One Fourth of Kids Are Active Enough

A report published by the Health and Social Care Information Centre found that in 2012 24% of children aged 5-7 met the recommended level of exercise (down from 28% in 2008) while 21% of 8-10-year-olds met physical activity recommendations (down from 24% in 2008).

It’s not all bad news though. According to the report, children are eating the recommended amount of vegetables and fruit.
