Pikes Peak Marathon 2015

August 16th 2015

If the ascent—a gain of more than 7,800 feet over 13.32 miles that takes most participants as long as a flatland marathon—doesn’t kill you, the descent, which covers the same stretch of Barr Trail in reverse, just might. Oh, lightning can come out of nowhere too. But you’ll enjoy great views for sure.
