Test Your Vitamin D Level At Home

We all have heard about the importance of vitamin D, and yet a study carried out by BetterYou suggested that more than 80% of the adults tested have levels below what the Department of Health consider sufficient.

Vitamin D is necessary for the body to make proper use of calcium for stronger teeth and bones, and to maintain a healthy immune system. With 90% of our vital vitamin D originating from our skin’s unprotected exposure to sun, more and more people are deficient of it.

Today, experts suggest to check the levels of vitamin D at home with a simple pin prick test.
