Top UK Trail Runs: Slaughterford 9

Slaughterford 9

Slaughterford 9, Wiltshire

When? 23rd January 2016

Competitors come from miles around to Wiltshire’s hilly and often apocalyptically muddy 9-miler around the Slaughterford Valley.

Being not-for-profit, organized by runners for runners, and with plenty of cake at the end, it’s a fantastic instance of a true local British trail race. But you can’t get to the cake without climbing an absolute killer hill – with a photographer at the top taking photos of you at your very worst.
