Wester Ross, Scotland
27th June 2015
3.8km swim, 202km bike, 42km run
Toughened triathletes from all around the world gather in one of the most remote locations in the UK to call themselves a Celtman. The Torridon Mountains form the dramatic backdrop that weaves its way all the way down to Loch Shieldaig, home to the swim. Single-lane roads involve over 2,000m of climbing with the coastal route driving gusts against you. At the end, what remains is just the run with two Munros between you and immortality.
