UK’s Top Triathlons: Llandudno Sea Triathlon

Llandudno Sea Triathlon
Llandudno, Wales
19 June 2016
1.5km swim, 36km bike, 10km run

Victorian appeal and breathtaking beauty combine for one of the most scenic triathlons on the calendar. A two-lap clockwise swim in the Irish Sea is followed by four laps of predominantly closed roads around the Great Orme Country Park with beautiful vistas of the North Wales coast. It’s more rolling than hilly but at some sections it features an exhilarating descent. Your cerebrally stimulating day finishes with a swift run along the promenade over to Penrhyn Bay where huge crowds will revere you like a god.
