At the Finding Common Ground summit hosted in Boston and organised by Oldways, a food and nutrition non-profit organisation, more than 75 experts from the US, Canada and Europe discussed healthy diet and overall nutrition recommendations.

They suggest that a healthy diet consists of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, legumes and minimal amounts of sugar, refined starch and red meat, especially processed red meat.
