What's the Peak Performance Age for Triathletes?

The peak performance age for triathletes depends on the distances and types of event they’re taking part in.

According to a study from the University of Zurich, a 10-year comparison between Olympic, Half-Ironman and Ironman distance triathlons found the average age of peak male performance was 27 in the Olympic, 28 in the Half-Ironman and 35 in the Ironman. A similar trend was discovered among women. The experts suggest athletes can use these indicators to plan their career more profitably.
