Working Mums Not Considered Bad Anymore

Most women know that trying to find a work-life balance isn’t easy—and it becomes even more difficult when you have children. So when working mothers get flak for not being able to spend as much time on their kids—or suffer from feelings of guilt about it—it can be frustrating.

This is good news for all working mums: The percentage of people who think working mothers are bad for children has been dropping. According to new reports from Iconoculture, in 2010 just 22% of survey subjects thought this, in comparison to 34% in the 1990s and 68% in the 1970s.

When it comes to this, the most important opinions are your own and those of your family. However, if working mums have less sass to deal with from society, we’re all for it—three hurrays for progress!
