The bars are a fast, simple and handy snack to eat on the go. They contain slow-releasing carbs for sustained energy, protein for muscle development and immune boosting nutrients.

Ingredients

Makes 6-8 bars

 2 tbsp. honey

4 tbsp. coconut oil

3 tbsp. peanut butter

280g porridge oats

3 tbsp. ground flaxseeds

1 tbsp. pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp. goji berries

2 tbsp. chopped dates

1 tbsp. chopped dried figs

Preparation

Melt the honey, coconut oil and peanut butter together. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and add into a baking tin and compress. Bake at 180 degrees C for 10-15 minutes. Let it cool then cut into bars.
