- 625 ml apple juice
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 140 g oats
- 70 g dried cranberries
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 70 g peanuts
- whipped cream and brown sugar to garnish
- Bring the mixture of apple juice, 125 ml of water, the cinnamon and a pinch of salt to the boil in a saucepan. Add the oats, dried cranberries and maple syrup, and stir well. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for about 10 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Chop the peanuts, then stir into the porridge and place the porridge into bowls. Serve with a little whipped cream and brown sugar.
