Tagliatelle with beef strips

Serves 4

  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 cm piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 400 g broccoli florets
  • salt
  • 250 g beef
  • 150 g shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 75 ml vegetable stock
  • pepper
  • sugar
  • 400 g tagliatelle
  1. Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic and ginger. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté. Wash the broccoli florets, drain and stir into the pan with a pinch of salt, then simmer for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Rinse and pat dry the beef, then cut into thin strips. Stir into the vegetables. Trim the mushrooms, wipe with a damp cloth and cut into small pieces. Add to the pan, then pour over the soy sauce and vegetable stock, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add salt, pepper and a little sugar to taste. Cook the tagliatelle until al dente following the packet instructions. Serve with the meat.
