Turkey goulash with sauerkraut and sour cream

Preparation time: cca. 15 minutes (plus frying and cooking time)
Per portion: cca. 234 kcal / 983 kJ
29 g P, 10 g F, 5 g CH


  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 450 g ready-seasoned turkey
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground sweet red paprika
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • 4 tbsp sour cream


  1. Peel and chop the onion, and cook in the hot clarified butter until transparent. Add the turkey and cook, stirring frequently.
  2. Add the sauerkraut, and salt, pepper, sugar and ground sweet red paprika to taste. Pour over the vegetable stock and simmer for cca. 15 minutes. Add the sour cream and check the seasoning. Serve turkey goulash with boiled potatoes.
