Drake Relays Road Race

America’s Athletic Classic begins with the Drake Road Races

Held annually in Des Moines since 1969 the Drake Road Races are one of the oldest road races in Iowa. With three distances available, 5k, 10k, and half marathon, there is a race for all athletes!
The 2022 Drake Road Races will be held on Sunday, April 24 starting outside Drake Stadium and finishing on the iconic Blue Oval.
